Pakistanis in Canada celebrate Pakistan Day Parade in every year on 14th August. 14 August is the Pakistan Independence day of Pakistan. In 1947 Pakistan get independence from Britain. On this day a non-profitable organization based on Pakistani Canadian organize the event of Pakistan Day Parade in Toronto City Hall since 2005. A large number of Pakistani not only from Toronto but other cities of the Canada participate in this parade. All Pakistani dressed up in national dress. They march on road with Pakistani and Canadian flags in hands.
Pakistanis feel this day like Eid day. Whole day they engage in celebrating different programs like flag hoisting, awards, colorful cultural shows, march past, speeches. At night Pakistani singers are invited for songs and dance shows.
